Eagles Cheer is a 100% volunteer organization that provides cheerleaders with the opportunity to learn fundamental cheerleading and stunting skills with an emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork and safety. 

Rookie Cheer (Flag Cheer)  - entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade: Our youngest cheerleaders will learn cheerleading fundamentals:   jumps, motions and basic stunting techniques.  They will also cheer on the sidelines at Eagles games and perform short halftime routines.  Practices will be held Mondays, 6:00 to 7:00 at Community Athletic Fields (CAF), games are held on Saturday or Sunday.   Season runs from the beginning of August through Mid-November.   Click on the flag cheer tab above to learn more! 

Competition and Sideline Cheer (entering  2nd - 8th grade):  Eagle Competition Cheerleaders will compete in  4 Illinois Cheer Association (ICA) Competitions and also cheer on our Eagle Football teams at home and away games.  Practices will be a minimum of 2 days a week.   Cheer season runs from mid-June* through ICA State Competition weekend in November.   Click on the Sideline/Comp Cheer tab above to learn more! 

Competition/Sideline Cheer:  Practice T-Shirt, Game Sweatshirt, 3 Cheer Bows, Competition Registration Fees, Licensed Competition Music, Indoor Practice Space, Use of Poms and Trophy.   

NOT INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION FEES:  Uniform, Sideline Cheer Shoes, Competition Cheer Shoes, State Competition Registration Fees. 

*State Competition Fee Fundraising is MANDATORY for all Competition Cheerleaders .
