Come out and enjoy the 10 Days of Paradise this summer. Each day in paradise will be themed with games and giveaways and no outside camps are booked in the park.

Come visit your favorite super heroes and join them in a costume parade at 1pm. the Super hero plays are held at noon and 2pm.

For Teens Only. Take over Rainbow Falls for 2 hours enjoy a DJ door prizes and fun contests. This event is sponsored by the Park District the Elk Grove Police the Village Youth Committee and the Lioness Club of Elk Grove

8/7/2010	Busse Woods Bike Tour	2:30 PM - 5:30 PM	Elk Grove Historical Museum
Bring your bike for an informative ride through Busse Woods Forest Preserve. The Elk Grove Historical Museum and Elk Grove Nature Shack staff will engage participants in the cultural and natural history of this area as we stop along the trail. It costs $3 a person the distance is eight miles round trip. Register by August 3. We will start our ride at the Museum at 399 Biesterfield Road.

Kids can rent their own table and sell their used toys. Tables will be displayed along with the Farmers Market booths. Each table is $10 and you can keep all the money you make. Price your merchandise ahead of time.

Come to Pirates Cove for an evening of fun. Admission includes all park rides, pictures, roaming entertainment and a piece of pizza from Rocco Vinos.

Join us for an out of this world adventure at Pirates Cove. Enjoy space activities all day. Meet our spaced out scientist at 1pm and you will see some strange and cool experiments.

8/14/2010	Foundation 5-K Race	7:00 AM - 8:00 AM	Pavilion
This 5-K race begins at the intersection of Leichester and Biesterfield Roads at 7:00am. The race is run on the surrounding neighborhood streets. Medals will go to the top male and female finishers. Entry is $20. For an entry form call 847 228-3512.

Adults are considered 15 years and older, youth are ages 7 to 14. Everyone is invited to compete in this exciting and free event. Awards are given to top 3 males and females in each division. You must register by August 6 and get your race day packet. This event is sponsored by Parkway Bank of Elk Grove Village.

Our fabulous luncheons are held the third Wednesday of each month. You dont have to be a member to attend. There is entertainment as well. The menu for the September lunch issliced tomato vinagarette, sliced roast pork loin, apple bread stuffing vegetable medley and apple slices for dessert. The entertainer is Tiffany Ellen a younger Carol Burnett.
